Homenatge a la trajectòria artística de May Xartó

Avui (18 de març de 2010, 19h, FNAC L'Illa) la pintora i poeta May Xartó vol celebrar la seva jubilació –després d'un any en què una caiguda l'ha deixat en cadira de rodes– i deixar pas als joves, tot fent un repàs a la seva trajectòria artística. Es projectaran les seves pintures, s'escoltarà cançons dels discs que ha editat i es cantarà la lletra pròpia que va posar a l'himne de Catalunya. La poesia de Xartó ha estat cantada per diversitat d'intèrprets (Noemí Doncos, Josep Pons, Mariona Bosch, Valeri Cabòs, Josep Baró...) i s'han editat entre altres discs Embruix (Picap, 2005) i Papallona de Foc (Picap, 2007).
